Nina Serwas, PhD
Nina Serwas is a postdoctoral fellow in the Krummel lab since September 2017. Before that she performed her PhD research in the Center for Molecular Medicine (CeMM) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria where she discovered and characterized novel genetic causes for autoimmunity in primary immunodeficiency patients. In the Krummel lab, Nina works on the question how antigen is transferred from tumors and peripheral tissues to cells of the immune system. She received a Long-Term Fellowship from the Human Frontiers Science Program.
